Erica holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College and is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.

Erica supports her clients by cultivating a healthier relationship with food and working alongside her clients to overcome disordered eating habits. She also enjoys working with women of all ages to support women’s health (family planning, pregnancy, and family nutrition).

Erica merges her professional experience with The Method by Nutrition Stripped as a guided framework with all clients to reach the health they deserve.

What To Expect From Your Sessions

When you become a client of Wellness Coaching, a Registered Dietitian will support you every step of the way so you feel supported and at ease throughout the entire process.

Your Journey Starts Here

As a new client, we'll dive into your goals, health history, and lifestyle.

You'll receive personalized nutrition recommendations so you feel confident moving forward. 

We continue to support you with follow-up coaching, providing you with accountability and additional guidance as you develop new habits and navigate life's challenges.

Session 1 • Initial Consultation

This is where it all starts!

This Initial Consultation is a 60-minute session where we discuss your vision of health, set goals, and lay the framework from which we’ll use for our entire coaching relationship.

We’ll do a deep dive into your questionnaire, food log, dietary assessment, past medical history, education individualized to your focus area, review of any labs available (as needed) and wrap up with agreeing upon several foundational goals to get you on track and feeling great!

What’s included:

  • Coaching sessions are virtual (i.e. on video or by phone)
  • Dietary assessment
  • Lifestyle assessment
  • Wellness Coaching Supplemental Packet Presented By The Method
  • Wellness vision and weekly goal setting to create a coaching
    roadmap
  • Health objectives and “healthy homework assignments" to work on between our sessions

Session 2 • Nutrition Path

After you’ve completed the Initial Consultation and have put into action your foundational goals for at least one week, you’re ready for your 2nd appointment which is all about the nutrition path and education about nutrition, how to nourish your body, and eat well for life.

In this 60-minute session, we’ll go over the nutrition path created for you after learning all about your specific goals. We’ll cover how to assess hunger cues, mind-body connection, and how to perform daily check-in’s — whatever is best to meet your individual needs.

  • Specific education on your health condition or related to your goals
  • Nutrition Path
  • Lifestyle Path (at the discretion of the coach)
  • Supplement plan as needed
  • Nutrition Path Supplemental Packet Presented By The Method 
  • Additional ebooks as needed on portion control, snacks, travel ideas, dining out, etc.
  • Grocery shopping lists as needed

Session 3 and Beyond • Follow Ups

After you’ve completed your second appointment, we'll have follow up session(s) to see how things are working, what challenges you might be facing, and how to progress forward. 

This follow up session will adjust depending on your needs!

It may include specific nutrition education topics you want to learn about, customized meal plans (i.e. updates to your nutrition plan), functional nutrition and health strategies, healthy cooking education, motivational techniques, and more. 

We're with you every step of the way until you feel fully confident on your own!

Professional guidance on your health and nutrition can benefit nearly everyone.

Whether you were recently diagnosed with a specific health condition you need support with, such as IBS, diabetes, or you just need a bit of guidance and accountability, our registered dietitians are professionally educated and experienced to support you.

Wellness coaching is not diagnostic in nature, but we will do our best within our scope of practice to support your goals and challenges you present in your sessions, and refer to additional health care members when necessary. 

Coaching isn't for you if you're not willing to try the recommendations and share openly about how things are working for you, any past medical history that's important to know, or any other challenges you're experiencing with your health so there's clear communication about coaching fit.

The number of appointments needed will vary greatly depending on your individual goals and needs.

We find that most clients book additional follow up appointments to give them accountability and the opportunity to ask follow up questions as new situations, challenges, or experiences come up in their lives. 

During your Initial Consultation, you will work with your Wellness Coach to determine a plan that will work best for you.

Yes. The New Client Package is offered in a one-time payment or 3 payments of $139. 

We do not accept health insurance for payment of services at this time, but HSA accounts may be used as long as they are through a normal payment system such as a credit card.

At this time, we do not offer or run laboratory testing or diagnostics. We do refer to local practitioners in your area as needed, and the costs of those laboratory and diagnostic tests are not included in your plan.

Yes! That's the beauty of our technology, secure client portal, and communications. You can access your health anywhere.

Your first step as a client is to fill out our new client paperwork which includes an agreement of our working relationship that you agree and confirm to prior to coaching, food log, health history intake form, additional invoicing as applicable, and more forms related to your privacy and protection when coaching and using our software. 

Our client agreement contains more details about our no-show policy, schedule policy, cancellation, refunds, coach/client relationship policy, communication policy, and more to manage expectations on your health journey. 

Not at this time, McKel hosts group coaching within the Method Membership.
